1. Is your beef grass-fed or grass finished?
a: All of our beef is grass finished. Occasionally on cold winter days we will supplement the animals with a little of our own rolled barley.
2. What is the breakdown of a quarter in terms of staks, roasts, and ground beef?
a: Although it varies slightly from order to order, typically it works out to around 25% steaks, 35% roasts and misc cuts, and 40% ground beef. That means for a 100 lb quarter, you will have 25 lbs of steak, 35 lbs of roasts & miscellaneous cuts, and 40 lbs of ground beef.
3. How much freezer space will need?
a: If you only have the freezer that's attached to your fridge, we would suggest trying some our ground, a sample box, or our variety pack. If you have a small detached deep freeze you will likely be able to hold a quarter.
